Over 50s Show favourite Veteran Antiques TV expert Eric Knowles, known to millions will once again be on hand to offer free valuations of small items and larger items from photographs.
THE 50s+ EXPO at the upmarket IPV Beatriz Palace Hotel, Fuengirola
The hugely popular 50 Plus Expo, the lifestyle event for the Coast’s retired ex-pats and locals, is returning this year at a new upmarket venue.
The event will take place at the four-star Hotel IPV Palace and Spa Hotel, fronting the A7 and next to the Sohail Castle at Fuengirola on the weekend of Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd December. DIRECTIONS.
The organisers say they have brought the event to the east of the Coast, ‘following requests from numerous exhibitors and visitors’.
But, they say, it will be ‘business as usual’ for the show which will include many of the features which have made this unique event so successful over the last decade.
Eric Knowles of The Antiques Road Show, will be back giving free valuations from small items and collectibles, and larger pieces from photographs. Also covered will be fashions, jewellery, pottery demonstrations, bridge tuition, free health checks, financial, pensions and legal advice, TV reception specialists, art, modern dance lessons, spa treatments, eye health, spinal treatments, ear testing, plus entertainment, and much, much more.
There will be cookery demonstrations throughout the two days.

Yoga demonstrations are always a popular feature.
The organisers add that because the event will be mounted at the beginning of the festive season there will also be many Christmas attractions, notably cookery demonstrations offering traditional fayre and more novel cuisine, as well as a Christmas gift feature.
The event offers the over-50s ‘a one-stop shop’ to get information on their physical and financial health as well as enjoy many of their interests and hobbies. Health and well-being will be a key element of the event based on the well-proven premise that exercise, sensible diet, and regular, routine monitoring slows down the age process.
Visitors can avail of blood pressure and blood glucose tests; spine monitoring and bone density screening will also be available, backed by information on treating arthritic joints and knee pain.
Art exhibition at The 50s Plus Show
The Andalusian International Artists art group will be displaying their new works at the show. The AIA Art Group was formed in 2004 by professional and dedicated visual artists from around Europe who are all living and working in Andalucía. They are a nationally registered Group in Spain.
The artists will comprise Roger Cummiskey, Dolores Cummiskey (Ireland); Juan Cruz Plaza (Spain); Auli Suvanto Salokannel (Finland); Debra Coloman (USA).
