Roger is President of the AIA – Andalusian International Artist Group. He lives in Mijas Costa and Dublin.
This exhibition features a mixture of oil and watercolour interpretations based on the writings and wanderings of James Joyce.
The AIA was formed in November 2004.
The exhibition opens 04 June and continues until 30 June, 2015.

Bella Cohen (above) is a fictional character in James Joyce‘s novel Ulysses. She is the brothel-mistress in the “Nighttown” sequence, and has a large and mannish appearance. She has a son in an Oxford college.

Henrik Ibsen’s When We Dead Awaken was favourably criticised by the 18 year old James Joyce who had taught himself to speak and read Dano Norwegian over a period of a few weeks. He corresponded with Ibsen and was greatly influenced by him.
