2020 – Video compilation of Ulysses. 4.5 Mins
2004 – A Noel Duffy film. A Stroll Through Ulysses. 23 Mins
In June 2020 during the global pandemic Roger Cummiskey decided to recognize Bloomsday 2020 during lockdown with a short short film.
The international celebration of the book Ulysses written by James Joyce would be done by reciting pasages of the book in locations around Co Clare where Roger Cummiskey was living at that time.
This short film was directed virtually by Noel Duffy film director and shot by Nichola Cummiskey, Roger’s daughter who was also responsible for the sound and selection of the most suitable locations. It was co produced by Roger’s wife Dolores Cummiskey.
The idea was part of a Global initiative called bloombeat which was to encourage others to do the same and read passages from the book to upload to the internet.
