The fourth edition of the Art Brownie exhibition brings together again a roster of artists working in different art disciplines: painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed-media and photography. Art Brownies are miniature artworks created by artists on spruce blocks, each measures 2.5 x 2.5 inch square, 1.5 inch high. This small, non-intimidating format has indeed provided fertile ground for endless exploration, resulting in many exciting and appealing artworks.
Considered by many one of the most open-minded art projects, the Art Brownie Project blends together high art and low art, the known and the emerging. A time for every artist and art lover to fully enjoy and appreciate the diversity of humanistic expressions. An exhibition of these works is scheduled to be held annually at INDEXG Toronto, with submissions from different parts of the world.

We are happy to announce three outstanding artists in the Art Brownie ZOO 2013 exhibition:

For her handsome rendition of our animal friends’ viewpoint
Kiyomi Burgin is a Canadian-born illustrator, art maker, and crafter working out of Toronto, Ontario. She recently graduated from the Ontario College of Art & Design with a Bachelor of Design. Working mainly in acrylic paint, her work tends to have a classical feel, while dealing with a modern subject matter.
• Chiara Fallani
For her light-hearted, simplistic but very effective approach
Chiara Fallani is a graphic designer/illustrator based in Toronto.
• Adam Devenish
For his meticulously detail, finely built mythical dioramas

Each of the above three artists are invited to do an art brownie solo for 2014. We are sure the event will be spectacular.
